The Gethsemane Prayer Ministry which started as Gethsemane Prayer Fellowship was commissioned on May 23rd, 1987 as a forum for continuous and consistent teaching and practice of God’s word in prayer, fasting, praise, worship, intercession, supplication and deliverance. The church arm – Gethsemane Chapel of Life came into being in May 1991. This ministry by God’s grace is in the forefront of the prayer move and mobilization not only in Nigeria but also in Africa, America and Europe. Today, Gethsemane Prayer Ministry has eight branches in the city of Ibadan, Lagos and the Federal Capital Abuja.
